These are my most popular cookies. I usually make at least 500 of these at Christmas. Continue stirring until the dough forms a smooth ball.
Cook for an additional minute to remove excess moisture.

You should notice a thin film forming on the bottom of the pan.

Cooling the Dough
Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl.
Allow it to cool for approximately 5 minutes.

This cooling step prevents the eggs from cooking when added.
